Singapore

First time in Singapore while good friend staying home.  First time breakfast food. Really enjoyed Kaya Toast with soft boiled egg and soy sauce on the side, a little messy and could easily eat the Kaya Toast without the egg. Also enjoyed trying Chicken Congee, Roti with Chickpea Sambal and Rambutan for the first time. Really loving trying different foods. I keep telling myself to not eat as much but then realise I don't get to try all these things in general. Now time to walk, lol.

Palace Cinema German Film Festival Opening night

I watched Long Story Short on opening night at Palace Astor Theatre German Film Festival. Absolutely loved the experience of going to the opening night of the Festival. Also really enjoyed the movie about how interpersonal relationships change over times of people's lives.

The Notorious Landlady and Widow Cliquot

Just watching on YouTube The Notorious Landlady with Kym Novak, Jack Lemmon and Fred Astaire (no dancing).   Brilliant movie where you think did she or didn't she? I always loved Bellbook and Candle as well.  Also loved watching Widow Cliquot showing how Veuve Cliquot was started by a resilient woman in a time where women weren't considered able to run a business and how she had to keep pushing for her own freedom to run it.

Green Book

Green Book is a beautiful real life story. It is interesting how far the world has come and continues to evolve, unfortunately it still has a long way to go in peace, love and light.

Echuca

Finally went on a paddle steamer in Echuca along Dhungala/Mirri (Murray) river. Absolutely loved it, it was the experience I didn't know I was missing. While the modern riverboats have all the mod cons, they lack the charisma of the paddle steamer. Loved the pleasure of going down the river in one.

The Tourist

I watched the first series of The Tourist on Stan a couple of years ago and have finally got the opportunity to start watching the second series. Glad to say, it's just as interesting as the first series, Watch The Tourist if you get the opportunity.

Netflix show

Just watching a Polish TV series on Netflix called The Green Glove Gang, charmingly different ☺️
